Auditions will be held by appointment.
We will audition small groups of up to 5 in 20 minute time slots. To schedule your time, email Ileane Olson. Put AUDITION REQUEST in your subject line and let her know your date/time preference, which we will try to accommodate. Within five days of your request, you will receive a confirmation along with the audition application and samples of dialogue for you to review prior to the audition. Drop in auditions will be accomodated, but you will have to wait for an available slot.
Please note that all auditions are for the CenterStage Summer Rep Company and all actors will be considered for roles in both Aida and Carousel. There is the potential to be cast in more than one show if needed and desired. There will be an opportunity for actors to list on the audition form roles that they wish to be particularly considered for. Please review the character descriptions which will be sent with your audition confirmation. Good luck with your audition!

Audition Preparation:
• Please prepare 32 measures of a song from musical theater.
• Bring sheet music for the pianist (no CD’s or acapella singing). Having your music in a book or binder is helpful.
• Please come early enough to fill out paperwork and be ready to audition 10 minutes before your assigned time. (We may occasionally run early.)
• You will be asked to read from one or more sections of dialogue from the shows. They will be available for you to look at/read through prior to your audition.
• If you are interested in one of the Featured Dancer roles, please prepare a one-minute dance audition (this may be your own choreography or a short section out of a performance piece or dance warmups/exercises). You may use a CD or piano accompaniment. If you are doing a dance audition, please include that information in your audition request
